Sunnyside Project

I was part of a team that worked on an amazing project. We at the Sunnyside Project made the home of a gentleman in Lower Providence livable again. Check out the article in the Timer Herald and the video clip included for more info!

Upcycle Challenge

Home by Kristen was proud to be chosen as one of five teams invited to transform a newly constructed home into a show house that raised funds for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County.  The home, located in Hatfield, PA was a three bedroom home with an open concept first floor.  Home by Kristen was charged with the task of not only taking on the blank slate designated as the dining area, but developing a design that would flow seamlessly into the adjacent living room area.  Designing for the client working toward home ownership, Kristen chose to blend a retro style inspired by a fabulous mid-century dining set with stainless steel and mirrored finishes to add just the right amount of glamor to allow this young, hip, single mom to entertain friends and family and enjoy some much needed grown-up time.  Never to be overlooked, her son had his own seating area for less formal meals with just mom at the breakfast bar which featured youthful but still stylish dinnerware and accessories.
